| Description: | Unique, hand-made pottery gifts for dads, grads, weddings and teachers will be on display and for sale at the Spring Works in Clay Show and Sale, May 16-22, at Art Center West, 1355 Woodstock Road in Roswell. More than 40 local artists from Roswell Clay Collective will showcase and sell one-of-a-kind functional pieces, such as bowls, platters, tureens, mugs, and vases, as well as ceramic sculptures, jewelry and whimsical pieces. "The Works in Clay spring show happens just in time for the spring gift-giving season," said A.J. Argentina, Art Center West supervisor. "The show is a fun outing for anyone interested in distinctive gifts, as well as collectors of ceramic art." Ceramic pieces will be available at all price points, which enables easy shopping for all occasions, including weddings, anniversaries, retirements, graduation and Father's Day. A festive opening reception will be held Thursday, May 16 from 7-9 pm. The reception is open to the public and many of the artists will be on-hand to meet with visitors. The show continues daily from 10 am to 5 pm through Wednesday, May 22. Sunday times are noon to 5 pm. Art Center West is located in Leita Thompson Memorial Park, on Woodstock Road near the intersection of Bowen Road. | ||
