Description:

From Great Southern Music Festival Website:

Pickers Paradise Park is a three day semi annual festival held in May and October. Located just a few miles north of historic Thomasville Georgia, the down home atmosphere keeps people coming back. Take time to visit the areas attractions with its working plantations, period architecture and historic downtown Thomasville with brick roads, local shopping and tourist attractions. Pickers Paradise Park is a fun, relaxing, bluegrass music loving place.

During the day at the festival, pull up a chair in front of the covered stage or sit close to the beautiful lake on the park and listen to some great bands. Enjoy some home cooked food, such as smoked barb-b-q pork, with our new BBQ sauce, or grab a hamburger to name a few of the savory options to choose from. If you feel like stretching your legs, take a walk through the field, play a game of horse shoes, and share a story with the friendly guests.

At night, stroll up and down the grassy paths, past the rows of motor homes, tents, and fire pits, and stop along the way to listen to the many small jam sessions who get together each year to play their favorites. Feel free to bring your instrument, come and add to the musical atmosphere.

We here at the park love to cook great food, play great music, and enjoy great experiences with others looking to do the same. Its a semi-annual event in the heart of the South. We hope you come out and spend time with us, enjoy our services, and most of all, walk away with more than you came with. The atmosphere in place today provides a paradise of fun for all to see, hear, and experience!

From all of us here at Pickers Paradise Park, where everyone feels like family, we cant wait to see you this year!
