Dowdy Park comes alive to usher in fall with Sum Nelly. You are sure to find SUM of everything from NELLY everywhere around at Sum Nelly. This festival has been a tradition since 1976 and is the kick-off for "Steam Into Summerville Railroad Days". Come enjoy over 100 artisans, crafters, food vendors, entertainment & be ready for loads of fun. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum Steam Engine Passenger Train is scheduled to arrive at the Historic Summerville Depot at 12:45 p.m. Train enthusiasts will enjoy watching the Summerville Turntable in operation as it turns the majestic steam engine.
