The 2015 Valdosta-Lowndes Azalea Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, 2015. In addition to the attractions mentioned above, guests can expect to see over 150 arts and crafts vendors, a food court, five stage areas of entertainment, a 5k race, a 1 mile fun walk/run, and a huge KidZone full of fun and activities.
This event has become a regional festival attracting attendees from all over the Southeastern United States. In 2014, we had over 150 vendors and guests from nine states, including Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Alabama, and Ohio. Race participants have come from as far away from Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. In addition, last minute hits on our website indicate that people are traveling from as far away as the Carolinas, Alabama, and throughout Florida to attend the Azalea Festival. And why not? Admission is free and it's great fun!
Plan to stay for the whole weekend--March 14 & 15 will also be the seasonal opening weekend for Wild Adventures Theme Park. So, plan to spend the entire weekend in Valdosta and Lowndes County.
