The Cotton Pickin' Fair has been winning awards and receiving national acclaim since 1972. The Victorian home of the town's namesake, W.F. Gay I, is the focal point of this unique venue featuring the Cotton Warehouse, the Peach Packing Shed, and various other turn of the century farm buildings. Enjoy art, antiques, and crafts produced by highly skilled artisans selected from across the United States. Excellent regional cuisine is served by local nonprofit organizations, and music, folk dancing, story telling and puppetry arts are performed on 6 different locations on the festival grounds.

The Cotton Pickin' Fair is sponsored by The 1911 Society, Ltd., a Georgia not for profit organization supporting sustainalble rural development, farm preservation, and agritourism, on the first weekend in May and October.
