| Description: | Eric L. Haney, author of Inside Delta Force and Beyond Shock and Awe will sign copies of his latest book; a novel No Mans Land on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Avery Gallery 390 Roswell Street from 10am -2pm. Haney is originally from the mountains of north Georgia and is a retired Command Sergeant Major from the US Army. He was one of the original members of the armys counterterrorist unit Delta Force. His novel is about a soldier of fortune named Kennesaw Tanner, who is approached by government operatives with an offer: rescue the kidnapped heir of a powerful Persian Gulf sheik whose allegiance with the U.S. has made him a target for terrorists. What Tanner doesnt know is that there are elements within the government who want him to fail; that the sands of politics are shift- ing against him-and that the job hes being paid to do may cost him more than he bargained for. Haney is an excellent writer, and a fascinating person to meet and talk with. Meet him, talk war stories, pol- itics and more. All of his books will be available that day at the gallery. | |
