This weekend of events will include regional artists and over 30 nationally-acclaimed antique dealers from around the country who will present antique furniture, jewelry, silver, ceramics and much more! The Opening Gala Preview Party on Thursday, April 19 will give guests an opportunity to enjoy delicious food and cocktails and a chance to purchase works before the Show opens on Friday. A full-service café will be open during the Show, so guests may relax and enjoy lunch or a snack while shopping.

On Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Show will be open only to interior designers, sponsors and patrons of the Show. Famed English interior designer Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill will greet these special guests during this special shopping time. At 12:30 p.m., she will host a lunch and lecture, addressing how she incorporates antiques into her design work, that is open to the public. Lady Spencer-Churchill will also be available after lunch to sign copies of a selection of her books, which are available for purchase in the Museum Shop and will also be available at the Show. That evening, guests may enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during extended shopping hours from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., guests may bring items for an object review by professionals. Items are limited to three per person and only objects that guests can carry with them.

Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill is the eldest daughter of the 11th Duke of Marlborough, whose family home is Blenheim Palace. After studying in Paris and Florence and completing a course at London’s Inchbald School of Design, Lady Spencer-Churchill worked for the designer Diana Hanbury. In 1981, she formed her own company, Woodstock Designs, which specializes in the renovation of country houses. In 1986, she created Spencer-Churchill Designs, which produces fabrics and wallpapers. Her clients, speaking engagements, and charity work take her around the world, and she has written numerous books, including Classic English Interiors, Classic Georgian Style, Classic Entertaining and Blenheim and the Churchill Family.
